Typical Jewell saga

Oh how wonderful Florida was. Sat on the beach and read, watched people and sometimes ran in the waves. The entire week was a huge success - relaxing and fun. We did, however, notice some itchy spots while in Florida. Upon reaching the state of Minnesota we noticed the itchy spots were growing. It seems Derreen and I have been attacked by chiggers while relaxing and enjoying the beach. Poor Derreen acquired many more chiggers than me and we are both awash in cortisone cream. It is sort of hard to remember the wonderful time we had there when we are itching like crazy women!! But, it was extremely fun and relaxing. I read 3 1/2 books while there. No wonder the little bugger chiggers got such a hold on us - we sat on the beach and pretty much said "have at us." A petty price to pay for such a great week!
